陶杰，1963年出生。教授，博士生導師。現擔任南京航空航天大學先進材料與成形技術研究所所長；亞澳復合材料協會副會長；江蘇省復合材料學會常務副理事長。1998-2008任南京航空航天大學材料科學與技術學院院長；2001.2-2002.2作為訪問學者在英國曼徹斯特大學（University of Manchester）材料科學中心工作一年。近年來，主持了國家自然科學基金、國家科技部重點推廣項目、江蘇省重大成果轉化項目、省部級項目等30余項課題，發表論文180余篇，其中SCI收錄80余篇，出版著作3部，教材3部。在金屬材料成形、表面功能涂層技術、納米材料、復合材料等方面取得多項研究成果，獲部省級科技進步二等獎2項、三等獎1項。已獲中國發明專利授權26項。 2001年被江蘇省人民政府授予有突出貢獻的中青年專家稱號；2006年入選國防科工委國防科技工業“511人才工程”；2007年入選“江蘇省333高層次人才培養工程中青年科學技術帶頭人”，同年被評為“南京航空航天大學教學名師”；2008年被美國福特汽車公司聘為“福特特聘教授”； 2009年入選江蘇省六大人才高峰計劃；2013年再次被美國福特汽車公司聘為“福特特聘教授”。 學術成果 （1）已發表的代表性著作及論文 [1]陶杰，姚正軍，薛烽. 材料科學基礎，化學工業出版社，ISBN978-7-5025-8310-1, 2009.
